The Nice Web Technologies mobile app is exclusively for enrolled students, teachers and administrative staff of Nice Web Technologies Institute, Jahangirpuri, Delhi. Access is restricted — login credentials are issued by the institute only upon admission or staff registration. This app is not open for public registration.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use our app:

• Full name, student ID, father's name and contact number
• Course enrollment details and batch information
• Attendance records
• Fee payment records and history
• Assignment submissions and exam results
• Profile photo (uploaded by the institute or student)
• Device token for push notifications
• Biometric authentication data (processed locally on your device only — not stored on our servers)
• Location data (approximate and/or precise) — collected only when location permission is granted by you, for features such as finding the nearest institute centre or location-based attendance verification

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide access to your academic records, lessons and study material
• Display your attendance and fee status
• Send push notifications for important updates, reminders and announcements
• Generate your student ID card and course completion certificate
• Allow teachers and admins to manage student progress
• Improve the functionality and performance of the app

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to any third party. Your data is only accessible to authorised institute staff (teachers and administrators) and yourself. We do not share personal data with external companies, advertisers or third-party services.

5. Camera and Device Permissions

The app may request camera access to allow profile photo uploads. This is optional. Camera access is only used when you choose to upload or update your photo. We do not access your camera without your explicit action.

6. Location Data — Access, Collection and Use

Our app accesses and collects your device's location (approximate and/or precise) when you grant location permission. Location data is collected and used for the following purposes:

• To display directions to or help you locate the nearest Nice Web Technologies institute centre
• To enable location-based check-in or attendance verification features where applicable
• To improve the relevance of institute-related information shown to you

How we handle location data:

• Location data is collected only when you have granted permission via your device settings
• Location data is not sold, shared or disclosed to any third party
• Location data is not used for advertising, profiling or tracking purposes
• We collect only the minimum location data required to deliver the above features

You can revoke location permission at any time from your device settings. Certain location-dependent features will be unavailable if permission is denied. If you deny location permission, no location data is collected or stored.

7. Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications. Your device token is stored securely and used only to deliver relevant institute notifications such as fee reminders, attendance updates and exam schedules. You can disable notifications from your device settings at any time.

8. Biometric Authentication

The app offers optional biometric login (fingerprint). Biometric data is processed entirely on your device using the operating system's secure enclave. We do not collect, store or transmit any biometric data to our servers.

9. Data Security

All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Access to your account is protected by your login credentials and optional biometric authentication. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

10. Data Retention

Your data is retained for the duration of your enrollment at Nice Web Technologies. After course completion or account deactivation, your data may be retained for administrative and record-keeping purposes for up to 2 years, after which it will be securely deleted.

11. Children's Privacy

Our app may be used by students who are minors, under the supervision and consent of their parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect any data beyond what is necessary for academic management. Parents may contact us to request access to or deletion of their child's data.

12. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of incorrect information
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal and administrative requirements)
• Withdraw consent for notifications at any time via device settings
